Piratecraft Ships 0.2.0 is now the active first-party addon embedded in the server/client/Prism surfaces, replacing the Ships 0.1.0 baseline.

Cinematic water motion: deterministic lively bob, roll, and pitch now apply to every unanchored, helmed Eureka ship, including AI-driven and unattended ships, with no change to the W/S/A/D/X control mapping. The motion is deterministic and independent per ship (ship-ID hash with distinct salts and sinusoidal frequencies), bob about 8% of ship weight at full wave, roll/pitch peaking at 4.0° and 1.5° and scaled by Eureka's stabilization, all amplitude-scaled by a 0.65 floor as speed approaches 6 m/s, on a 100-tick base period. Anchored, dry, static, and zero-helm ships receive zero force.

Ship fracture and wreckage: generic face+edge connectivity splitting (corners never connect), with non-survivor components of 16+ blocks becoming independent physics wreckage ships, 1–15 block components destroyed with tiny item drops, fracture-created small wreckage (16–127 blocks) cleaned up after five minutes unoccupied, 128+ block wreckage persisting, and player proximity deferring cleanup.

Automated evidence: checks.x86_64-linux.ships is green with 198/198 required named assertions (SHIPS_PROBE RESULT PASS, FRACTURE_RESULT_COMPLETE); Prism, prism, client, client-compatibility, client-smoke, metadata, module, and standalone-policy checks are green. The built artifact is Piratecraft-0.3.0-beta.12.mrpack (90,666 bytes, SHA-256 8e9da1f8d92750e28b19ce0554510be4f628ee60915be33c1b070cf588f64226) with exactly one embedded override JAR overrides/mods/piratecraft-ships-0.2.0.jar and no VS Sails, Sails compat addon, check-only probe, or third-party JAR.

Manual water-motion and fracture acceptance is still NOT RUN: no real client has boarded and steered a Ships 0.2.0 ship, and the WIP water-motion/fracture behavior is not manually accepted.

The rejected-Sails reference server, fleet-assembly, and sails-worldgen checks are NOT claimed green. server boots but fails the stale PirateShipProbe ZERO_EUREKA_ENGINE_BLOCK_LINEAR_THRUST assertion because that reference probe still expects the rejected zero-engine Eureka policy. That is not a regression in the baseline pack.

This is a WIP beta/playtest prerelease. It is intended for continued playtesting on the disposable playtest world; do not treat it as a production or manually accepted release.
